Initial Info
Liquiel or LiquielArts reserves full rights to the artwork produced. Commissions will not start until 50% of the payment is given upfront. All and any reference material, stipulations, and requests should be provided prior to the initial payment being submitted. Clear and concise communication is necessary to provide the best possible artistic interpretation of your request. Both parties are expected to communicate respectfully.
Unless communicated earlier, all commissions are for personal use only. I, as the artist, reserve full rights to the work produced. Because of this, I am allowed to use commissioned work to promote my portfolio, as well as share the work in other private or public spheres.Clients are allowed to share their commissions on social media, either through their profile picture, icons, or other means (with credit). They are also allowed to gift commissions to friends, family, and loved ones, so long as it is strictly for personal use. Any desire for commercial use should be communicated before the commission starts to discuss further fees.Clients are not allowed to print/sell/profit off of my work in any medium. Clients are not allowed to claim my work as their own, and they are not allowed to share my work without credit. Clients are not allowed to repurpose my work for NFT’s or any other commodified medium (adoptables, prints,etc).
Commission Process
Up to two major changes, and five minor changes are allowed for sketch commissions. I will send WIP pictures throughout the process for rendered requests. Rendered commissions will have the opportunity to make changes during the colored sketch phase, but will no longer have the option to do so once rendering has begun. No edits will be made to the commission once it is finished.To be sure you are satisfied with your request, make sure that every reference image you has contains all of the information you want me to convey.I am active on Discord, so I will get back to potential requests within a day of the message being sent.My turnaround process can take anywhere from a day to two weeks depending on the types of commissions requested.As stated earlier, the 50% upfront payment is necessary to start the commission process. The remaining balance will be requested after the commission is completed.Any failure to pay after an invoice is sent will result in the commission being cancelled indefinitely. All payments will be done through USD via PayPal Invoice or CashApp.
Refunds & Cancellations
I reserve the right to cancel and halt the commission at any time for any reason, while also refunding the initial amount.The client is not allowed to request a full refund once the commission has started.A partial refund can be achieved that will correlate to the amount of completeness and time put into the halted commission.If there is a lack of communication for over 1 week after a commission is completed or cancelled the money held will remain with the artist.Forcing a chargeback or not paying the rest for a completed commission will result in public and personal blacklisting. Any and all rights regarding artwork in question will be retracted and legal action will be taken if necessary.
